Insert Sappy Post Here

C will be home tonight.
And there's no date looming in the future of when he'll leave again. I can pretend we're normal...weird.

For those who don't know it, here's a cliff's notes version of our story:

We met at a friends University Manor apartment. Everyone was playing guitar hero, but he was showing me and my roommate movie previews. One of those happened to be for The Departed. He promised me that he would take me.

Well, the time came and went, and the mf'er didn't. ;) So comes the end of the semester, and his fraternity is having a house party(A thing of the past, now) that just so happens to be on my birthday. Well, I would NEVER drink were I not of age, but I may have been acting goofier than normal. :)  The party got busted... not for alcohol. Our (methodist) university has a rule against people being in the opposite sex's living area (i.e. a fraternity house) after curfew (midnight, on weekdays). So all the girls there have to pass through campus police, so that we can get yelled at when we come back from break.

Well, in my goofy state I started texting him. I told him me being in trouble was all his fault, and that I was just so mad at him for this (He was the exiting president of his fraternity. It makes sense). And apparently, he was concerned. He texted me the next day to make sure I was okay... and we texted all through our Christmas break. We went on  a date when we got back from christmas break...and the rest is history. :)

C and I have been together since January 7, 2007 (With a break in there...because he's dumb. :P). January 24, 2008 he left for Basic....and we've been long distance ever since.

And today, after 2.5 years, I will no longer be in a long distance relationship. And I can finally break off my relationship with my phone.
